Our business is growing fast, and we are right now expanding our activities and looking for a process engineer. The Power-to-X process engineering team works closely with our Power-to-X project management team and Power-to-X hydrogen and ammonia specialists – this cooperation is essential to secure high-quality deliverables to clients around the world. 

About the job

The Power-to-X process engineering team works closely with our Power-to-X project management team and Power-to-X hydrogen and ammonia specialists – this cooperation is essential to secure high-quality deliverables to clients around the world. Our projects run cross-functionally and therefore, it is essential that you have excellent communications skills and a strong ability to navigate between technical and commercial evaluation and development. 

  • Preparation of Process drawings such as PFDs, PSFDs, P&IDs, and H&M Balance Diagrams. 
  • To perform process calculations and develop in-house spreadsheets
  • To perform / review Process Simulations and guide Process Engineers. Possess proficiency and working knowledge in using process software such as Hysys. 
  • Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL and Design review workshops 
  • To utilize the relevant international standards, codes, specifications, and procedures as demanded by the Project 
  • Managing internal and external interfaces on specifying and reviewing technical packages such as Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical, and Civil Engineering
  • Knowledge of Pre-commissioning/Commissioning/Operations is an added advantage.

  • Chemical Engineering degree with 10-12 years of  relevant experience in any one of the fields - Oil& Gas, petrochemical, refinery, offshore industry, and Utilities & Offsites related to the industry 
  • The Process Engineer will be involved in the Front end engineering or EPC design activities 
  • Should have worked in at least one process plant FEED /EPC project complete cycle. 
  • Understanding of basic process engineering calculations is essential 
  • Good knowledge of process engineering software is required. 
  • The experiences encompass Process Engineering (Front End Engineering Design, Detailed Engineering) Organized, accurate and detail-oriented  
  • Structured & highly analytical by nature 
  • Excellent team player with strong interpersonal/organizational skills 
  • Pragmatic, agile, and willing to take on a variety of tasks  
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal 
  • Excellent report writing skills
