Would you like to solve some of the most complex scheduling and optimization tasks to enable a green future running 100% on renewables?

Our Origination and Modelling team is developing advanced algorithms for hedge analysis, PPA & market data analysis for Power-to-X assets as well as the optimal configuration of such assets, and are looking for a super-smart data scientist with a specialty in data analysis and reporting to join our team.

Your responsibility will center around data analysis for Hedge and PPA modelling with multiple constraints and uncertainty. You will be expected to both analyze, develop, deploy models and report using either python or R language and translate the ideas of consultants. Being successful in this role is highly dependent on your ability to take conceive appropriate analyzing techniques and take end-to-end responsibility deploying prototype models and continuing their development to full-fledged solutions.

You will be working on projects around the world together with the Origination & Modelling team located in Denmark and India.

About the job

  • Hedge/PPA analysis and modelling
  • Web scraping of market data (Price data, generation data, climate data, etc.)
  • Transformation of unstructured data to structured data format
  • Work with our backend data engineers and data analysts to deliver automated modelling and benchmarking solutions.
  • Perform data analysis and modelling (Bootstrapping, Linear models, AI model) for any given data from stakeholder
  • Develop and deploy all the mathematical model and algorithms
  • Proficient in python or R packages such as Numpy, pandas, datetime, pyodbc, matplotlib, seaborn, sklearn, docxtpl

About you

  • Master’s Degree or Ph. D in Actuarial Science/Mathematics/Statistics
  • 1+ years of working experience in the field of data Scientist or other similar roles would be an advantage
  • Experience in web scraping, unstructured data analysis & reporting
  • Good knowledge in statistics and probability
  • Skilled in PPA & Hedge funds is an advantage
  • A structured and analytical approach to your work
  • Self-driven and high level of critical thinking
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical audience
  • Relevant education background within Mathematics, Business, Finance or Engineering, with top academic performance.
