We are seeking a Finance Business Consultant to join our Business Finance and Controlling team. In this role, you will contribute to creating economic and financial insights for our large-scale renewable projects globally. You will be an integral part of various project teams across the US, providing essential financial transparency and accurate cost control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver insightful financial information through precise cost control and financial analysis.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.
- Ownership and execution of project controlling processes within the projects
- Be a strong contributor to management, in terms of decision making based in-depth and timely reporting e.g. commitments, sunk cost analysis, ETC/EAC (estimate-to-complete/estimate at completion)
- Support clients in the development and construction of large-scale renewable projects.
- Join a global project controlling team passionate about their role in projects, prioritizing knowledge-sharing and close cooperation.
- Foster a great social environment within the team.
Your Accountabilities:
- Support our clients worldwide with insightful project controlling.
- Ongoing control of project-related costs.
- Act as the business partner towards the project management group, actively participating in daily operations from a financial perspective.
- Drive the budgeting and reporting process together with the project management team.
- Secure continuous control over project cash flow forecasts through insights into key contracts.
- Act as a middleman between the project management group and the client, ensuring financial transparency and alignment.
- Provide precise and trustworthy decision material to stakeholders.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis.
About You:

We value a blend of personal and professional skills and would prefer you to bring the following experience to our team:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- CPA Certification preferred, but not required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Project or Business controlling
- An interest or ability to read and understand contract terms
- A strong interest in data and the automation of financial processes
- A natural interest in BI and ERP solutions
- Professional-level English skills, both written and verbal
