We are looking for an experienced Tender Manager to engage our Construction/ Tender & Contract Management team. You will have a valuable role in driving our large-scale portfolio of Wind and Solar projects worldwide.

About the role
As a Tender manager for wind and solar projects, your responsibilities will be dynamic, but key tasks are expected to include:
- Lead the preparation, issuing, and review of RFIs and RFPs and align with the Technical Project Manager on the Scope of Work review and Technical exhibits.
- Work closely with project team to understand the project and highlight the impact on cost, interface and risk profile of the incoming bids and communicate results.
- Responsibility for specific package process from a technical and commercial perspective effective planning, monitoring, controlling and reporting.
- Support specific Procurement/Contracting managers ensuring all technical, commercial and administrative requirements related to all aspects of the Project are applied.
- Provide inputs for the Project schedule, planning, risk assessment for the specific Procurement/Contracting package.
- Report specific Procurement/Contracting package status and support on the creation of the decision and Steerco materials.
- Support a correct and smooth handover process to the Construction Management team.
- As part of the Tender and Contract management team work closely together to form generic tools and templates for tendering.
- Working with the construction projects to align contract documentation related to scope changes.
- Key internal and external stakeholders to support the realization and optimization of commercial value.
About you
You bring strong business acumen and a passion for driving project development, backed by a proven track record of successfully leading initiatives in dynamic and diverse organizations. You are a proactive problem-solver, comfortable navigating complex cases, and simply a standout colleague who loves to contribute to the positive energy in your working relationships.
Ideally, you will bring the following experience and qualities to our business:
- A bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or tender management preferably from the Wind Industry.
- Experience preparing procurement strategy and leading tender phase.
- Demonstrate a well-developed ‘toolbox’ to effectively manage sourcing and tender processes, negotiations, stakeholder management, analyzing market trends, and tracking supplier performance
- Excellent ability to communicate and document results and assumptions.
- Profound understanding of risk and opportunities and interfaces in construction of wind and solar projects.
- Ability to navigate in a complex contractual landscape.
- Experience in project management or procurement roles on large-scale construction projects, e.g. related to manufacturing, or in connection with the installation of components.
- Strong analytic skills able to analyse commercial and technical bids and compare key parameters to recommend preferred suppliers.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrable track record of providing evidence-based assessments and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
