We are seeking a candidate to oversee the WTG Installation Scopes for our client in the USA. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient installation of Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs). The successful candidate will manage various stakeholder interfaces, including Offshore Installation Contractors, OEMs, MWS, and offshore client representatives, to ensure seamless project execution.
This includes immediate project tasks such as:
- Contract management of the WTG installation (sub)packages, supported by contract managers.
- Plan project activities and deliverables to secure successful and timely development/delivery
- Prepare risk assessments and mitigation plans
- Prepare progress reports on finance, risk, safety, progress for internal stakeholders
- Identify opportunities and apply continuous improvement methodology throughout the project For this initial project, you will report directly to the WTG Package Manager and receive support from the BPP global function. Additionally, our customer is planning for future projects in the same geographical regions and will need assistance with the bidding process, which could lead to an expanded portfolio.
This includes future project tasks such as:
- Plan and execute technical concept development and assessment
- Manage project envelope and support environmental impact assessment
- Prepare ITT material together with Package manager and procurement team
- Prepare notes and presentations to internal / external stakeholders, in order to inform status, forward strategies and key decision making
- Prepare cost-, time- and resource estimates to inform the wider project planning
- Establish models and generic templates for effective cross portfolio working
- Participate in various workshops and meetings in the project- and wider customer organization in order to discuss risk/opportunities and exchange information
During the preparation phase of these projects, you will report to the BPP T&I Bid Manager until the post-FC handover to the WTG Package Manager. Throughout this process, you will be supported by the broader BPP organization to ensure successful delivery. The position is based in Boston, USA, which is considered a very attractive and vibrant location for expatriates.

- Fluency in English is essential.
- Engineering degree (BSc or MSc).
- Previous experience in offshore WTG installation is preferred.
- Proficiency in procurement, contract, and claim management (knowledge of FIDIC and BIMCO contracts would be advantageous).
- A strong safety focus and awareness.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Organized and efficient in your work approach.
- Ability to collaborate closely with external suppliers and clients.
- Agility, adaptability, and flexibility in responding to the organization’s changing needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience with MS Office tools.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
