Meet Jens Bech Madsen, our Head of IT and Business Systems. With a deep passion for technology and extensive industry experience, Jens has been instrumental in shaping the development of BPP’s IT operations. From business systems development to information security, operations, and support, there’s never a dull moment in his work.
Despite his impressive career, Jens finds satisfaction in the growth and evolution of IT and Business Support at BPP. He shares his thoughts:
“Our company has an internal IT department, which I find very appealing. Our objective is to complete the projects independently. This is a more engaging role for me as a leader, and it allows me to lead a larger team, which is a more rewarding experience than any of my previous roles. The department continuously evolves in line with the company’s growth, and we always seek to expand our team.“

Jens brings extensive IT experience to his role at BPP, where he continues to develop his skills and knowledge. What excites him most is the opportunity to make a real impact in the sustainable energy market, contributing to meaningful change for a better world.
Equally important to Jens is the constant opportunity to grow and learn. One of the aspects he values most in his role is the freedom to experiment and explore innovative technologies, which keeps him motivated and inspired.
“There is considerable scope for experimentation. We believe that anything we don’t currently understand has the potential to be useful if we experiment with it rather than dismissing the opportunity on the grounds of uncertainty. The approach to new things here is very positive thanks to our management, which allows us to stay one step ahead of the technological opportunities. Technology is an interesting field. It is not only useful for meeting business purposes but also in general, which is very motivating.”
